2007 ARBA Convention, Grand Rapids, MI
This is the first place youth meat pen.  They were judged by Bobby Crosby.

Convention was a great time and we hope to attend many more!  We were pleasantly surprised to have placed most of our entries, even rabbits that we had pre-sold!  Great job to all of the winners, the level of quality at convention was simply astounding!!
Youth BIS at Medina on 11/3/07
This is Karrina pictured with Rogers Olita and Judge Kevin Bogan.  This is not only our first BIS with a Mini Rex, but it's the first BIS with an otter in Ohio as far as we know!!  We are working very hard on this color, and we were overjoyed that Judge Howard Keller picked her for BOB!  He later chose her for Best 4 Class.  Never in our dreams could we have imagined she would get a BIS!!  We are so happy with the quality of this rabbit!  Thanks Aunt Kristi for selling Karrina the bred doe that produced this gal!!
2007 HOLMES COUNTY FAIR RESULTS
Karrina had a great fair this year!  This was her first year in the intermediate age group and she competed very well.  She not only won Intermediate Rabbit Showmanship, but went on to take the Supreme Rabbit Showman award!!  She also had the champion herd class with Hollands and Reserve Fancy Breed with a Mini Rex.  She also won the Outstanding Market Rabbit Award for the Intermediate age group and now has a $50 savings bond for her hard work!  In market goats, she won Reserve Intermediate Showmanship!  Goes to show that hard work and studying DO pay off!!  Good work, Karrina!!
This is Devin doing showmanship.  He placed fourth of 18 because his bunny was misbehaved.  He had a great fair!  His highlight of the week is located below!!  Way to go Devin!!
This is Isaiah doing showmanship.  It was his first year in 4-H and he ended up third in showmanship out of 18!  He even placed above Devin (that could be a future sibling rivalry).  Good job Isaiah!!
Devin is the short blonde in the middle of this picture.  This is the Pen of 3 Fryers judging, and Devin won the Grand Champion Pen of 3 Fryers with our home bred stock!!  (Thanks to Greg, Kristi, and Heidi for the great genetics!)  Devin also had the Champion Single Fryer and won the Outstanding Market Rabbit Award for the Junior age division, so he gets a savings bond, too!!
These are some pictures of Karrina competing in the Little International Showmanship Contest at our fair!  In this contest, you are judged on your ability to show swine, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, sheep, llamas, beef, beef feeders, dairy, and goats.  You have to earn a spot in the contest by winning showmanship in one of your species.  It is so much fun to watch!!  In the picture below, you can see, not only Karrina, but my youngest brother Brad (in the 4-H shirt), who also competed representing rabbits!
